Monday

For a while now, many people at Revolution Church have had the privilege of meeting a special friend that we knew would only be around for a limited time. This friend is very warm and inviting. Minutes after the time this friend is called for, the friend will be there to fill the need of the people. Even the presence of this friend is joyful. In fact, on every occasion this friend has been around people, the people smile and take in the wonderful smell of its spiced rice, melted mixed cheeses, delicious black bean, all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. That's right folks! For a limited time, you can get the $1.59 Bean, Rice, and Cheese Burrito ("BRC Burrito") from Charo Chicken. Compared to other BRC Burritos, this one is 60% bigger, and tastier as well…

But reminiscing about the Charo Burrito makes me think about the people who I ate with during my last Sunday lunch. We sported an even team of 3 to 3. On the Asian/Pacific Islander side, we had Big Will, Alan, and me. The White/non-Hispanic team of Alyssa, Seth, and Jennifer were the other three. There isn't much to say about lunch, but that it would be Jennifer's last meal with us. You see, much like the BRC Burrito, Jennifer was also here for a limited time, since she is moving back to Florida for college. In fact, Jennifer seems to have a lot of similarities to the Burrito, except smelling like the tasty meal.

Good luck Jennifer, and enjoy Florida.

I appreciate you calling it the "Asian/Pacific Islander side". Especially after our discussion about filipinos having their "own box." haha

Jen, if you are reading this: HI!!!!!!!!! :)
